Third, Kroger employees hate helping, at least at my local store (I could rant about this particular store in an entirely separate thread, but they don't call it "ghetto kroger" for nothing). Second, it often does not work and at the checkout upon scanning your shoppers card the discount does not always apply and then you have to bother the employee. But there is no such button to click, rather you just click the coupon check box. ![]() First, the instructions on the website are incorrect and says in the app you must click "load to shoppers card". I could rant all day about Kroger's digital coupon system. I can't imagine how much money Kroger has stolen from its customers because their PC app isn't correctly applying the coupons. It's usually about $10-$20 that she gets ripped off without knowing it. Her family spends hundreds of dollars a week at Kroger's and she finally started double-checking her receipts and watching at checkout. My sister never realized they weren't applying properly and never double-checked. Everyone I know that clips coupons on their PC has this issue. About 25% of the coupons I clip don't work. It's actually quite insulting because it happens on several items EVERY WEEK. Now they require you to show them the app on your phone to "PROVE" you clipped the coupon. ![]() It used to not be much of a problem as they would apply the coupon at the register if you told them you clipped it but it didn't work. Half the coupons don't apply correctly at checkout. I am a "loyalty customer".why when i enter my loyalty number (which is my phone number) don't i automatically get to take advantage of all items on sale (i.e., digital coupons). ![]() I hated Von's and now i pretty much feel that way about Ralphs.my Ire was brought on when they started the digital coupon nonsense. Walmart, Sam's Club and Costco.Sam's and Costco both have annual fees.so what.less BS and good prices without making me perform tricks."clipping" their moronic "digital coupons" I also shop at Walmart.I am just one customer.but i might not be the only customer who refuses to jump through hoops.they (Ralphs & Vons) are treating their customers as trained monkeys."here, jump through this flaming hoop and we will give you a sugar cooky. I have my complaints about Costco's on-line operation.(they are not very good at on line), but they run an efficient in-warehouse operation and prices are good.īoth Sam's and Costco have pretty good pricing, cheap gasoline and they do not force their customers to jump through hoops the way Ralphs and Vons do.ie., login to the stupid Ralphs website, muddle through on line pages of crap i have no interest in to be able to clip one of their moronic "Digital Coupons". i also have a Costco membership.i WILLrenew the Sam's club and I will renew the Costco membership. i figured i would just be a member for one year, then non renew. i signed for Sam's Club last September They were runnng a membership promotion. Good pharmacy, but i spend very little on groceries there. Now i primarily go to Ralphs for prescriptions. I am now spending very little at Ralphs, so i am not earning much back on my AE rewards card. and only 1.00% at Walmart and warehouse stores.anyway, i used to spend a ton at Ralphs and quickly built ups $746.00 in AE rewards dollars.īut now i am sick of the BS of digital coupons. It pays 6.00% cash back on purchases made at Ralphs, Trader Joes, Smart and Final, Vons., Stater Brothers. ![]() I have a for fee ($95.00) American Express card that i signed up for about 20 months ago. and if i don't notice the digital coupon until i am in the store, then i will try to open the Ralphs' app on my phone to clip it while i am in the store almost never works, because as one employee there told me, their wi fi signal is weak. I shop at Ralphs (for the last 10 years) i am a "loyalty customer".i just enter my phone number and get discounted but about 3 years ago i started noticing "Digital" coupons.
